Kampus 2030 in a nutshell

What’s your idea? We’re collecting campus experiences and campus impressions! We invite everyone to provide feedback and ideas about the downtown campus located on the riverbank of Seinäjoki, its surrounding area, and activities.

How does Kampus 2030 work progress? Summarizing our process: Survey, meetings -> Reviewing responses -> Expert workshops on emerging main themes -> Development plan for the campus and its surrounding area -> Publication.

Idea and feedback survey: Let´s rethink the campus together

Let’s make the campus and its surrounding area even better with our collective ideas!

The survey is aimed at everyone who uses the campus and everyone who could use the campus.
You can live in Seinäjoki, South Ostrobothnia, elsewhere in Finland, or abroad.
You can be a student, a worker, an entrepreneur, a retiree, or outside the workforce.

In the survey, you’ll be able to provide ideas and feedback for the development of the campus and its surrounding area under at least four themes:

CAMPUS IDEA
CAMPUS AS BUILDINGS, SPACES, AND ENVIRONMENTS
EVERYONE’S CAMPUS: campus services, campus spirit, being a learner or participant on campus
CAMPUS AND CITY CENTRE

What would you improve, remove, add, or what’s missing altogether?

You can think big or mention smaller things. The survey will guide you in responding.
If you’re familiar with the area, you can answer based on your experiences.
If you haven’t visited, you can think about other cities and campuses you’ve experienced while responding.

Completing the survey takes about 10-30 minutes. Among those who leave their contact information, gift cards and product gifts will be raffled.

Would you like an invitation to the Kampus 2030 expert teams?

From our idea and feedback survey, several different themes emerge for further consideration. Before shaping the development plan, we will work on these themes: we will organize half-day workshops around the themes for May-June 2024.

What is Kampus 2030?

Coordinated by SeAMK and carried out in collaboration with the City of Seinäjoki, the University Consortium of Seinäjoki (UCS), and the University Association of South Ostrobothnia (Epky), the Kampus 2030 project aims to create a better campus and surrounding area for students, experts, and citizens. The project will publish a development plan for the area in late autumn 2024.

Kampus 2030 is a focused and engaging development project, where our initial focus is on gathering information: collecting user experiences, observations, impressions, ideas, and suggestions. We hope to reach our target audience as widely as possible through surveys and encounters.
