Think Big! Promoting Growth Entrepreneurship in South Ostrobothnia
Green transition and digitalization are today’s megatrends. Leveraging them enables sustainable growth and profitable business for companies.
The Think Big! project is based on the results of the GreenGrow – Supporting Green and Inclusive Growth of SMEs in South Ostrobothnia project, which concluded in the fall of 2023. The GreenGrow project evaluated the ecosystem of growth entrepreneurship from a green growth perspective. The results indicated that, to serve companies in harnessing the green transition, the ecosystem requires more collaboration and networking, clarification of services, development of expertise related to sustainable business and green growth, and better utilization of research data. These themes are addressed in the Think Big! project.
The project is implemented in collaboration with three development companies in South Ostrobothnia. The collaboration between SeAMK and the development companies aims to enhance mutual expertise and networking. The ecological sustainability crisis necessitates that companies transition towards a carbon-neutral circular economy, and development companies need to have sufficient expertise in sustainable business to assist companies on this path. There is also a need for more knowledge about successful models or tools from other parts of Europe to promote green growth and digitalization.
